Airdrie Savings Bank is pleased to advise that you can now register for Verified by Visa whist shopping online.

Your visa debit card makes it easy to shop whenever you want on the internet. But before you make a purchase, you want to know it’s completely safe. That’s why Airdrie Savings Bank has teamed up with VISA to offer you Verified by Visa – their secure online shopping service.

To take advantage of this free service all you will need to do is register your Airdrie Savings Bank visa card whist shopping online at a participating retailer.

Added security in five simple steps:
To enjoy the added security of Verified by Visa, all you have to do is
register your card online at a participating retailer, by inserting:

1. Expiry Date of card
2. Three digit security code on back of card
3. Postcode
   N.B. Insert a space between first & second part of your code
4. Year of Birth
5. A password of your own choice

Whilst not all retailers have signed up for Verified by Visa, registration is compulsory for purchases at retailers who use Verified by Visa. You will be given three opportunities to complete a purchase without registering, however on your fourth purchase at a participating retailer you must register.

This is a one-off registration process and, after you’ve chosen your password, all future purchases at participating merchants will be completed with the added security of you having to enter your Verified by Visa password.
